Why RSF Exists

Robots need a service layer, not only product specifications.

Existing robot standards define safety and compliance baselines. RSF addresses the capability layer: who performs service, how competence is assessed, and how service quality is promised and improved.

Capability

Defines the competence expected from robot service professionals across installation, maintenance, diagnostics, remote service, and lifecycle operations.

Procedures

Turns service delivery into repeatable workflows: acceptance, commissioning, preventive maintenance, root-cause closure, SLA review, and retirement.

Network

Creates a practical framework for manufacturers, service companies, training partners, and customers to coordinate post-delivery robot service.
